"Autumn Splendor" Tag for Create Exchange October Tag Swap

So, I have to say that Autumn is my favorite season above all and when my swap partner and I decided to do our Floral themed tag swap in fall colors I was thrilled.  I wanted to somehow portray the depth of the colors that one sees during the fall in each flower that I used.  I was able to achieve this look by doing a multi step technique that I kind of just thought of as I went along.  I knew that I wanted the flowers to resemble glass; however, when I started working on the tag I forgot that exact thing.  So after applying gesso and LSG sprays I then remembered what my ultimate "vision" was.  Therefore, I figured "what the heck", I grabbed by fine clear embossing powder, versamark ink pad and pen, alcohol inks and UTEE and went to town.  I found that by applying alcohol ink to the unset fine embossing powder you get amazing color payoff and you are still able to see the beautiful shimmer from the LSG sprays.  Finally, by applying multiple layers of the UTEE the paper flower begins to take on a glass like appearance.
